NMA National Programs "Changing lives and affecting health outcomes."
For over 30 years, the NMA has participated in a wide variety of externally funded projects. Through its membership, professional development, community health education, advocacy, research, efforts with federal and private agencies and corporations, the NMA has been committed to improving the health status and outcomes of minority and disadvantaged people for more than a century.
Our programs, funded by federal, state, local governments, private foundations, pharmaceutical companies and private corporations cover relevant and timely health issues that disproportionately affect underserved populations.
