Publications under the auspices of External Affairs publishes the Journal of the National Medical Association (JNMA), NMA’s Healthy Living News magazine and the Convention Daily Newspaper.
The JNMA is one of the nation’s oldest medical journals and has been published since 1909. The Journal is peer reviewed and is published monthly with a circulation of more than 40,000. The Journal features original communications, history, medical news, opinion, case reports, studies, and guest editorials.
NMA Healthy Living is a publication designed for physicians and their patients. This is a unique communication vehicle the NMA is using to help improve the quality of health among African Americans and other medically underserved populations. This is a quarterly publication with a targeted reach of 470,000.
The Convention Daily Newspaper is published during the NMA’s Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly. This daily publication captures scientific, education and convention events each day during the convention.
